I Believe In You

I believe in you…

Things are just so simple with you,
It’s all between we two.
Your smile, the way you talk,
Your passion, the way you want to walk…
It’s so pleasing, it’s so charming,
Your presence, it’s so warming…
I can all be myself with you,
How stupid I behave, I don’t get a clue.
The success, the achievements will all be around,
Just make sure that your feet keep touching the ground.
I accept you the way you are,
For me you’ll always be a shining star.
Don’t underestimate yourself because some say so,
They are afraid and won’t let you grow.
To conquer them, you won’t really need all your might,
With a gentle touch, the magic will be at your sight.
Have faith in yourself, you’ll have the greatness,
But you possess something greater than greatness : Goodness!

The goodbye...

They said, "we would be blue without you", our juniors while bidding us farewell. Indeed true. Life is colourless without love.
Its said that you must give to get something. When we were juniors, we gave farewell to our seniors. We got their love. Now, our juniors gave us farewell and again, we got love. So we gain all the time?  Yes, this is a win- win situation. And do remember my juniors, you gave a better farewell than we did, you will get better farewell than us. This is just because everytime the love keeps on adding. And trust me, you will cry more than us.

And to my batchmates, respect is never asked for, it is earned. And all the respect and love we got from these juniors has been earned by us by our deeds. IGGMC, you have given me more than I asked for, more than I ever expected. Thank you my dear batchmates for being there with me and help me grow up to a better human being. Stay awesome as you are!!

The perfect imperfections

Perfect things don't happen, do they?
Life is all about imperfections around us and we trying our level best to cope up with it, Darwin's theory of survival of the fittest. If in the process we cannot manage to stay happy, we probably will never be.
A scrutiny of every little detail will reveal its flaws but what is the use anyway? It's going to remain that way for a while and if it starts bothering you, you are ought to get annoyed by those little imperfections. These perhaps might be something that provide uniqueness to those very things.
On the contrary, the big picture might look very much acceptable and pleasurable. The closer you look, the lesser you see. If you miss the forest for a tree, you are unlikely to complete the trail.
Lets start ignoring the trivial issues in our day to day lives and focus on completing the picture by putting together little pieces of the jigsaw puzzle. And as the whole story unleashes itself, sit back and enjoy the pop corn!

The Other Half..

All of us have the two selves of our personality within us. Not that we are schizophrenic but it’s a human tendency to wear a mask to be judged better by the other members of our species.
I recently happened to run into an old friend and we began to catch up. I hadn’t seen her for ages and even though we were fast friends back then, I felt I could see a completely new face of hers. Well this wasn’t unexpected but what I was seeing was the other half of the face she was hiding from me. Probably the fear of being judged by me was somewhere the intent.
As we began talking about our lives, I realized something that to everything she was saying, I was probably listening between the lines. And she was the real self here, hidden between her words. The other half of us is seemingly opposite to our worldly half. Behind that extrovert body is a little introvert half, afraid to show up. Behind a strong and physically tall body might be a tiny vulnerable half. Inside that seasoned and grown up man, lies a ray of innocence and ignorance. Of course, that other half wouldn’t show up or else all of us would have been known psychopaths by now. Yeah, I know that we need a component of hallucination to be a real one, but wouldn’t being ecstatic all the way long sound like a hallucination?
I personally feel that it’s not the brighter side but most of the times a darker half of the person which gets buried inside deep and dark! When they get along well with people they like, they just can’t afford to lose them by showing their negative attributes. Anger, hate, jealousy, ego, hurt etc are just a few to name, obviously there are lot more. This girl I was talking to, was more of an attention seeker. She didn’t want people to go away from her. She just couldn’t tolerate being ignored by someone for no reason. This isn’t something which is highly approved but seriously, what is wrong with her needs? Aren’t we all somewhere deep down been wanting someone to stay close? This was her other half. But honestly, I don’t think we are complete without this other half of us. Its who we are,it’s what like being ourselves. It’s what makes us more happy everyday. We are not defined by the protocols of the society we live in as to what kind of behavior is good and bad. These are feelings. They aren’t always supposed to be classified as good or bad, they just are.
Exploring our other half is what makes us see the complete picture. Never hesitate. Go ahead, take risks. Do what it takes to reach your goals, but first understand thyself. It's not like finding the better half of us, but it's like finding the half. Only then you’ll be able to find your purpose in here. I’m yet to find mine and so does this girl!

The Grind

Ideas come and die
I see them passing by,
Helplessly.

Pen cuffed to the exam sheet,
Anchored to the ground, my feet
Hopelessly.

Turning a blind eye
To the clear blue sky
Endlessly.

Is this struggle for pleasure?
Does it lead to the hidden treasure?
Breathlessly.

Silver lining to every cloud,
My parents shall be proud,
Eventually.
